Men and Estrogen Don’t Mix

men and estrogen don't mixMen and estrogen don’t mix well.  Estrogen in men is a growing health problem, causing problems such as enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, and even cancer.

Even though estrogen is known as a female hormone, men naturally produce small amounts of it too.

Men need to lower estrogen to avoid estrogen dominance.  Here’s why . . .

What is estrogen dominance

Estrogen dominance is the hormone imbalance in men that occurs when men have too much estrogen compared to testosterone.  Estrogen overwhelms testosterone.

Your testosterone to estrogen ratio should be at least 4:1.  How to train and eat for maximum growth hormone release

In other words,  four parts testosterone to every one part of estrogen.  The higher the ratio, the more masculine and healthy you will feel.

A better ratio is 8:1.  Athletes should aim for 10:1.

Today, however,  many men have ratios less than 4:1. At ratios this low, you’re bound to feel the symptoms of estrogen overload.

So what are the symptoms of estrogen imbalance:

*    Low sex drive

*    Weight gain

*    Difficulty urinating at night

*    Erectile dysfunction

*    Enlarged prostate

*    Weight gain

*    Man boobs

*    Prostate cancer

Now having some estrogen is normal for men.  Men just shouldn’t have such high levels. Men and estrogen just don’t mix! Here’s what causes estrogen dominance.

Myomin: Natural Hormone Balancer

An alternative to DIM is Myomin.  Myomin is an herbal blend created to normalize estrogen levels in women and men.  It works by helping to metabolize unhealthy estrogens and promoting proper hormone balance.

Myomin competes with estradiol (the most active form of estrogen) at estrogen receptor sites, and can therefore be especially effective for estrogen dominance.

It also inhibits the aromatase enzyme helping to stop the conversion of androgens into estrogen.  See Energetic Nutrition to learn more.
